Delivery Planner at Metsä Board Husum

About the role
As a Delivery Planner, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery of our finished products from the mill in Husum to customers and warehouses around the world. You ensure efficient and smooth transportation by:
- Planning and booking deliveries of outgoing products.
- Creating freight, import, and export documentation.
- Controlling and coding logistics costs.
- Maintaining daily contact with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a well-functioning logistics operation.
Your team and collaborations
You will be part of a small but important department within a large factory, working alongside three other delivery planners. We handle the delivery planning for products from our pulp and paperboard mill, where a large portion of the production is exported, primarily to Europe and the USA. In this role, you will have daily dialogues with shift supervisors/terminal workers, central functions within the company, and external suppliers.

Who are you?
To succeed in this role, we believe you have:
- Experience in logistics, delivery planning, or transport administration.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Familiarity with working in digital systems (SAP, MS Office).
- A solution-oriented and structured approach to work.
- The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Desirable skills
- Experience in international freight, import/export administration.
- Understanding of logistics cost tracking and coding.
